Wordless Wednesday!!!

I thought I'd share some more pictures from our trip to the park and some of Luke cooling off with playing with the water hose!! Ahhhhh, summer :)

We are really enjoying this summer! We got our flower beds ready to be planted yesterday and hopefully we will get the chance to plant some flowers today :) And hopefully we will even get the chance to go swimming?? I certainly hope so!

My Thoughts

I was most excited to try out the Nail Brightener. I don't usually paint my nails, except for a french manicure so I like for my nails to look healthy and well kept. I couldn't wait to see if this truly would brighten up my nails. After one use I could tell a difference! It has a nice translucent glow to it, so instantly it looks great. But what I noticed was that the areas that were supposed to be white actually were looking whiter, instead of yellowed. This contains anti-oxidizing properties that hydrate and brighten your nails. This is great for anyone who likes the natural look on your nails but needs some help giving your nails the healthy look they need.

In the summer, my feet always get dry and cracked. I blame this on wearing sandals constantly. But, in the summer is when you want your feet to look great, not dry and cracked! This is why I chose the Total Foot Care Cream to review. This cream helps eliminate calluses and cracks. You apply it twice daily (morning and night) and it leaves your feet soft and silky. This is definitely helping with my dry feet. It has a great baby powder scent which makes it enjoyable to apply. I love that my feet are looking more girly and soft!

Lastly I was able to review a bottle of Shade by Barielle, their nail color! I chose to review the Swizzle Stix shade. My niece was helping me pick a color and we both loved this shade! It did not disappoint when it came in the mail and I took the bottle out of the box. The shade was exactly what it looked like on their site. It went on great and I was able to coat my toe nails in just one coat! It lasted a long while too without chipping or peeling! This is a great summer shade too! I don't like to do paint my nails, but I love to try different colors on my toes!

My Thoughts

The Crab Splash Pool was the perfect product for Luke to try out first! It always takes him a while to warm up to the water, but the small size of the pool and slide was perfect for him. Not too big and not too small!

The set up was a breeze. My dad used his air compressor to inflate the slide and the pool. The slide and pool are two separate peices that velcro together once you have them inflated. Luke was so excited to get in that he was getting in while my dad was blowing them up!

The slide has handles to grab ahold of to help little ones up on the slide. The slide is on the small side, which is good for little one's who aren't quite used to the water yet!

The pool holds just enough water to make a little splash. Luke liked sitting in the water and playing too! It's not big enough for swimming, but great for playing! Luke loved the "wall of water" it added one more element of fun! In these particular pictures we didn't have the hose hooked up, and in all the fun I didn't get a picture of it while it was on.

Luke really enjoyed the Crab Splash Pool. I think the age recommendations for this are right on. This would be great for toddlers all the way up to age 6! I definitely love this splash pool! It gives the little ones a great way to cool off and a bit of excitement too!

Next we tried out the the Double Wave Rider Slip-N-Slide! Set up was a breeze with this as well. You just lay it out and hook up your water hose and your ready to go!

It came with stakes to hold it in place. It took no time to set this up! Now, for a little warning. We put this going downhill because we thought it would make it easier to slide down. My parents don't have great water pressure, so the water wasn't squirting out of the side like it was supposed to. If you have good water pressure, you shouldn't have this problem and the next time we get this out we plan on putting this on level ground because we think this will help with the water pressure issue. Other than that, this is an awesome water slide! I love that two kids can go down it at once and the fact that it comes with two inflatable slide boogies to take the impact of the kids bellies!

Even though Luke is a bit young for this Slip-N-Slide, he still enjoyed it! He sat on the slide boogies and we helped him go down. We plan on getting this out again when the older kids are over. I know they will have a blast on it and Luke will probably get a little more brave as they will show him how it's done! And you know adults can't resist getting in on the Slip-N-Slide action too! The great thing is that this is well made so I know we will get many, many more uses out of it!

I highly recommend either of these items for some great summer fun!

Summer Fun Had Me A Blast!!!

We are actually having some nice weather here in Ohio! There is no rain it the sun is shining! We took advantage of it and went to the park a few days ago. I wanted to share some of my favorite shots with you guys!

Hi guys! I hope you all had a great week! This week has flown by and I'm so ready for the weekend....the long weekend! I am feeling better by the day so hopefully by Memorial Day I'll be feeling great!

I'm not sure what happened this week other than I have been sick with a sore throat and not feeling the greatest. It is also that time of the month. I don't think I did horribly bad on my eating but I didn't really exercise except for walking around the park yesterday. I didn't follow the Weight Watchers plan yet. I haven't even sat down to read through the information yet. I just haven't been feeling good since Sunday. I think I'm on the mend though and hopefully will be able to get into the swing of things within the next day or two.

I'm not posting my monthly goal until I get my act together. It is a lost cause this month too. As I said last week, I'll take whatever weight loss I can get.

My Thoughts

I think it’s great to be able to repel mosquito’s naturally. I hate to use more chemicals than I have to so if there is a natural product to use instead I usually choose that. I love the fact that you can use this to repel mosquito’s not only on yourself but from your whole family at the same time. I like the idea of treating a large area instead of one person at a time without spreading nasty chemicals all over your body. I’m glad that I can use this around Luke and our dog Jake too! This is easy to use and effective!

I was so excited to try out another awesome product to display my photo's. I thought these looked amazing on the Hatchcraft site, but I was even more impressed when I received my Boo Box in the mail!

This is definitely a great way to display a treasured photo! There is no need to go out and buy a frame for your photo because the photo is made right into a custom bamboo frame! This frame is thick, which will make your photo stand out!

This frame is high quality and the photo looks great! You can select which color of bamboo you would like, from light to mixed to dark! Your photo print will be Archival Museum quality standard and is attached to your frame using adhesive. The order process is quick and easy, and you will need to have your image cropped square before uploading, which can easily be done in any photo editing software. You can even use your cell phone images too!

I am very happy with my Boo Box and it will eventually find it's perfect place on my photo wall!

My Thoughts

The Paper Coterie site was easy to use. The polaroid heart template was ready to, I just had to upload my photo's and drag them to where I wanted them on my poster. The only problem I had was when I wanted to upload a few more photo's I had to go clear out of my project, upload them and then go back into my project. I couldn't wait for this to arrive! When it did I couldn't have been happier with the results!

This is printed out on fabric, no paper so you don't need to worry about it getting torn. This gives it a unique look as well! I was very happy with the colors of this poster, and each of my pictures were bright and colorful!

This poster is adhesive backed but I'm going to put mine in a frame and frame it so it stays perfect in every way!
