Life's Treasures

Since becoming a mommy, my outlook on life has changed. I think I have changed as a woman also. My son has made me stronger but at the same time is teaching me how to slow down and enjoy those little moments and the little things that make life sweet. It's amazing how motherhood changes you, isn't it?
I remember when I had Luke I couldn't believe that he was what was inside me for all those months. That it was actually a baby kicking me all those times. Now, almost 17 months later, I look at him and can't believe that there is a part of me inside him, a part of me inside that little boy, its unbelievable. I try to see myself, does he have my eyes, my nose, my mouth (he definetly has my temper). Is it just me or does every new mommy do this?
This morning I went into his bedroom to wake him up for breakfast and he was just cuddled up with his lovey so comfy, butt partly in the air. I had to run and get my camera to take a picture of him and in that  moment I stopped and thanked God for that moment. It felt like a miracle to me.
In everything that I do, I just hope that I can stop and take the time to savor these moments with my baby boy.....because in the grand scheme of things...I am truley blessed.
